The Rev. E. Shaun Williams, a native of Austin, Texas, is the son of Deacon and Sister Edgar Williams. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Park University in Parkville, Missouri. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary (MA/CE).

Rev. Williams was a faithful member of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Austin, where the Rev. (Dr.) G.V. Clark serves as Senior Pastor. He was a servant-leader throughout many ministries at Mt. Zion. He served as the Director of the Christian Education Program and Assistant Director of the New Members Orientation Committee. He was the Ministerial Advisor for the Silver Soldiers, a Seniors Ministry, and the Ushers, Nurses and Welcome Committee. He was also the lead teacher for the Men’s Sunday School Class.

On January 28, 2015, the Rev. E. Shaun Williams was called to the leadership of Pleasant Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Waco, Texas. He humbly accepted with great joy and thanksgiving the opportunity to faithfully serve this congregation. Rev. Williams officially began his Pastoral oversight at Pleasant Olive on April 1, 2015 – with Bible Study.

Since coming to the congregation of Pleasant Olive, Pastor Williams has dedicated himself to spiritually guide his members with thoughtful sermons and an uncompromising commitment to the teachings of his faith. Pastor Williams continues to be a strong advocate for missionary work, education, and stewardship, and he strives to lead the church in fulfilling the Great Commission through its ministries.

Rev. Williams is married to the former Lee Lynnette LeBlanc. They have been happily united since August 2001. With this union God has blessed them with two precious daughters, Chandler Raye and Kennedy Lee.
